VideoNystagmography Part I, II & III

Course Description

This three part course will provide a comprehensive overview of the use and interpretation of VideoNystagmography (VNG). Each component of the series goes in-depth as to testing techniques and interpretation. The goal is to provide a virtual experience for both new and experienced practitioners to enhance their knowledge and skill in conducting and interpreting VNGs. Part I will review anatomy and physiology, common vestibular disorders, patient preparation and diagnostic applications. Part II will provide the techniques, protocols and interpretation of Ocular Motor, Gaze and Head shake testing. Part III will present a comprehensive discussion of all aspects of BPPV with clinical demonstration videos of appropriate techniques of modified Hallpike testing and reliable positional testing procedures. Good biomechanics ensuring patient and administrator comfort and safety during the testing is highlighted with emphasis on Pearls and Pitfalls of protocols and interpretation.
