International Vestibular Rehabilitation Certificate
21 clock hour online program designed to meet the needs of physical, occupational and physiotherapists worldwide. In collaboration with the Education Foundation's sister company the American Institute of Continuing Medical Education and the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. The curriculum based on the Barany Society Ad Hoc Committee on Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (2011) includes:

The IHTC program was developed in collaboration with the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (UNECOM) in response to the growing need to reach the millions of children and adults around the world who are in need of hearing healthcare services. It also enhances the local economy with the creation of new jobs. This program is accessible online and it is designed for individuals who will assist audiologists, otolaryngologists and other qualified physicians. Courses are taught in English and Spanish by an international faculty, with more languages to follow. AICME is currently seeking innovative partnerships with individuals, corporations, foundations, professional societies, faith-based groups, universities, and governments who would like to provide funding or scholarships to students in underserved countries.

Education without Boundaries. AICME is committed to delivering cost-effective; evidence based medical education that is reliable, flexible and on-demand for access anywhere in the world. 1. All courses are asynchronous, available 24-7, and do not have to be taken at a specific time. There are no scheduling issues of day or time.
2. Each course is approximately one hour in length. There is an automatic examination at the conclusion of each course which immediately scores, allowing the student to review their performance.
3. Courses are in the form of enduring materials. The students owns and posses the course and materials.
4. Courses, materials, videos, handouts and reading materials may be downloaded on personal computers, ipads or smartphones and watched at anytime.

The IHCT Program was developed to meet the needs of the global community. If you reside in the United States, the scope of the comprehensive curriculum may include courses which may be considered outside the practice scope by your particular state. Please familiarize yourselves with state licensing laws and registration requirements for hearing healthcare extenders.
1.The curricula was designed for students with no more than a secondary (high school) education and no background is necessary in hearing health.
2. The program is designed for IHCT Certficants to work under the direct supervision of an Audiologist, Otolarnygologist (ENT), Physician or other appropriate advanced degreed healthcare professional (International).
3. Students are required to have a supervisor or preceptor. It is recommended that during their coursework students are provided observation and hands-on experience and training, if at all possible.
4. There is no application fee.
5. Prospective students should complete the Application-Registration form and be sure to include the name and contact information of their supervisor-preceptor.
Technical Requirements:
Windows or Apple OSX compatible computer. Broadband internet connection with 1.5 mbps or higher download speed.
1. Cost for the entire 20–clock-hour curricula is $795 USD. This includes all the enduring materials as well as the final examination for the Certificate.
2. There are no additional textbooks or materials required. All educational materials are included within each course.
3. Students may self-pay or may be funded through their sponsoring organization, grants, scholarships, corporations or faith-based organizations.

The Certificate in Fall Risk Management (FRM) is an inter-professional 10 hour educational certificate program for service providers, care givers and administrators of programs working with older adults in the health, social services, adult living and nursing industry. The educational requirement is a combination of a classroom workshop (4 hours) and six 1-hour online classes. see curricula below
The Certificate is a joint enterprise between The American Institute of Balance Education Foundation (AIB Education Foundation) and The American Institute of Continuing Education (AICME).
AIB is among the country’s most respected balance disorder and treatment centers and has successfully evaluated or treated over 100,000 patients since 1992. AIB’s evidenced-based clinical protocols, research and educational programs are internationally recognized. Richard E. Tuition:
The total tuition including the classroom workshop, all online courses and examination is $495 per student. The Certificate is valid for two years.
Facility Recognition - AIB Affiliation:
A facility will be recognized and listed within the AIB Affiliate Network as a Fall Risk Management Certificate (FRMC) staffed facility (Find an AIB near You on the dizzy.com website) when they maintain a ratio of no less than one FRMC staff per 15 residents. Additionally the better the ratio, the higher the rating for the facility based on the following guidelines:
